GUNDOG TRAINING GROUND IN THE SOUTH LAKES NATIONAL PARK

Set in picturesque countryside within The Lake District National Park, but with easy access from the M6, we have a variety of training environments in our own 17 acre private grounds in the Lyth Valley, including woodland, cover and undulating ground, training paddock, ponds for water training, barn for inclement weather, onsite holiday cottages, plenty of onsite parking and toilet facilities.  

 

Whether your interest lies in training your dog to be a well behaved, fun and contented companion, training your dog in a way which suits their instincts as a hobby, working your dog in the shooting field, competing in tests and trials, wildfowling etc.,  the experienced and supportive trainers who use our grounds will show you how to build a positive and progressive partnership with your dog.

 

As well as the training at Broadoak, we arrange events both dog related and social.  Our members get together outside of training sessions to practise both here on our regular Members mornings and importantly at other grounds and venues. Days out at game fairs. clay shooting, days at the races, away days with other trainers, it's all about fun and learning.
