The first opportunity to go to the United Retriever Club (North) training day was in May, Lauren and Ben took Zazoo and Thistle from Claudias Junior Group and Claudia and Delta joined them. Caroline and Wendy were also there for the Novice and Open sessions in the afternoon. URC is a fantastic friendly group of people who travel a fair old distance for these events. They made us all feel very welcome and even though I do not have an official 'retriever' (Rupert would like to differ) and went along for moral support I was given a clipboard and put on car parking duties ...all in all a fun day out and highly recommend to those of you with appropriate canines.
