The highly skilled trainers who use our ground have vast experience, regularly working on large shoots and preparing their own homebred dogs for competition at top levels.

RETRIEVERS
Sandra Braithwaite
Sandra is a very popular figure in gundog circles with a calm approach and excellent sense of humour. Sandra has extensive experience in Retriever competitions judging working tests up to all age field trials. Not only do Sandra's dogs compete they are used during the shooting season for picking up on vastly different terrains. Sandra's workshops for all variety of Retrievers from Broadoak, and other grounds in the South Lakes and North Yorkshire, will soon have her clients on the road to success.
SPANIELS
After a super successful 2024, we continue the programme of Spaniel training workshops, with brilliant Spaniel Trainers, Garret Marson and Charlotte Gill of Smallbrooks Gundogs and Training for Trials with Ian English catering for the Less Experienced Handlers right up to Top Level Trialling.
